Run a check
- Wait for Loading map…
- Tap the map to place a pin (hint on the map). Status: Pin at lon, lat or No pin yet.
- Choose Fishing technique: Anchor, Shore jigging, or Surfcasting.
- Choose Target species (gilthead, pandora, seabass, dentex, bonito, …).
- If the species is dentex, set Season (Spring Mar–May, Summer Jun–Sep, Autumn Oct–Nov, Winter Dec–Feb). Hint: Dentex depth preference changes with the season.
- Tap Check habitat (Checking…). The button stays off until a pin exists (Place a pin on the map to enable the check.).
The page is protected by reCAPTCHA (spam control).
Read the result
Habitat fit shows a score plus the same kind of depth / bottom / structure idea as the app. There may be a warning if the pin is on land. A disclaimer reminds you this is planning, not navigation.

Anonymous visitors get one check. Then: You’ve used your free check.

If you are already signed in, that streak gate is skipped.
