Adriatic species the chart models: orada, dentex, pandora, bass and the pelagic set
This list is the habitats the chart actually models for visiting anglers: orada, dentex, pandora, bass and one pelagic set, plus a night window for squid and cuttlefish. It is not a Mediterranean fish encyclopedia. A habitat score is a model match, not a fish count.
Public species cards on place pages currently list orada, mackerel, bonito and pandora. Empty cards stay off. Town text can still name dentex or bass. A card waits until the public overlay has zones.

Gilthead seabream (orada)
Sand and mixed edges. Gilthead seabream. Savudrija and Umag are the first pair. A hundred-metre miss blanks you. Latin stays Sparus aurata.
Italian towns can name gilthead when the overlay has zones. They keep their own water notes. Dawn on a readable edge beats a packed quay.
Common dentex (zobatec)
Rock and drop. Common dentex. Rovinj and Vis, only where the model has zones. Not Umag. Not Pag flats. Not Rimini.
Sand-only towns do not get a dentex card just because the species guide exists. Town text can still name the fish.
Common pandora (arbun)
Mixed mid belt. Common pandora. The fallback when orada goes quiet, slightly off the shallowest sand. Poreč, Murter and Piran are the first examples. A static teaser can hide the card while the live overlay still has work. Read the live layer, not the town name as a count.
European seabass (brancin)
Inshore structure. European seabass. Bass exists in the app. The Free overlay is incomplete. Italy is incomplete. Extra overlay is VIP or trial. There is no published Istria bass-marks list.
Public cards do not include bass. That is the overlay talking.
Pelagic set
Mackerel, bonito and amberjack share Adriatic pelagics. Early current lines. Trolling is the mode. Cres is the place example. Summer dawn sits on summer pelagics.
Italy trolling overlays are not complete. A harbour-exit search is a search, not a finished Italian map.
Squid and cuttlefish
Night window. Squid and cuttlefish. Months live on squid season. Place pages do not grow a squid section. Public cards stay the four daytime species.
How to read a place card
The common name opens the habitat guide. The scientific name opens the short vocabulary card. These guides are English. Slovenian and Croatian place pages still use vocabulary cards.
If a public card would show no zones, the card stays off. Do not fill the gap with this hub. Empty is honest.
Habitat score
The number is a model match. Limits live on what a habitat score is and model accuracy. Depth without class is half a plan. Wrong bottom blanks you.
Italy
NE Italy is sea-side from Trieste to Ancona. Lagoon interiors are out. Several modes are unfinished on that strip. This list still names the same fish because the model knows them. It does not pretend the overlay is finished.
Gilthead and pandora can be honest on Italian sand and mixed when zones exist. Dentex still needs rock and zones. Bass still needs overlay honesty. Pelagics still need a current line, not every harbour exit.
Orada in short
Savudrija is millimetre work on a sand/hard edge. Umag is the next sand shore. Other towns can hold orada. The child names two so a first read has a pair. The Checker still wins. Ten extra metres of empty sand is a miss.
Dawn surfcast and a short boat sit are the usual methods. Midday July sand is a bathing belt. Dentex cards stay off sand.
Dentex in short
Rovinj is islands and reefs. Vis is drop. Other rock towns can hold the fish. They do not each need a third dentex page.
Italy harder belts are local. They are not Vis. A harbour wall in Ancona is not a secret-mark list.
If zones are missing, this hub does not invent them. Coverage is the live layer.
Pandora in short
Slightly off the shallowest sand. Place pages lean on it when seabream go quiet. Teaser counts can be zero. Live overlay can differ. Anchor on the class change. Shift ten to thirty metres. Do not steam kilometres because mixed sounded better.
Bass in short
Free is incomplete. Italy is incomplete. Extra overlay is VIP or trial. Public cards stay four species. Bass is not a fifth card because this hub exists.
Pelagics in short
One page. Trolling. Dawn lines. Cres. Amberjack can be gated. See Free vs VIP. There is no published marks list.
