Istria is the Croatian peninsula in the northern Adriatic on the AlgoCatch chart. Towns are Pula, Rovinj, Poreč, Umag, and Savudrija. Every town record tags mixed Folk-5. Poreč, Umag, and Savudrija also tag sand. Pula and Rovinj also tag rock. The only public species polygons on the whole chart sit in Poreč and Rovinj. This page states no depth range.

Where it lives in the Adriatic
Poreč and Rovinj each have one public polygon for gilthead, one for mackerel, and one for bonito. Pandora has none. Umag, Savudrija, and Pula have town pages and Folk-5 tags, and no public species polygon in the files checked on 27 Oct 2026.

The place file is the source for the seabed tags above. Species zones on the public guides are the polygon files, not the Folk-5 tag. A mixed tag on Umag does not mean a gilthead polygon is published there. Depth stays off this page.
