Fishing on a charter: guest versus skipper permit

Guest versus skipper

The skipper runs the hull. The guest holds a rod. Those are two jobs. They are not one stamp.

If you fish as a guest on a skippered boat in Croatian waters, you still need your own recreational document unless the 2026 parent says otherwise for that year. If the day is already on the Trieste-Ancona strip, Italian recreational rules apply. A Croatian stamp is not valid there. Read Italy recreational rules.
