Chart look (beta)

how to switch the experimental satellite-style chart, and why it says it is not for navigation.

What you will learn: how to switch the experimental satellite-style chart, and why it says it is not for navigation.

Toggle: Chart look · Beta
Copy: Satellite + blue depth (beta). Not for navigation.
How to open: MoreExperimental section (phone) or the Experimental popover (desktop).

Chart look is available on Free and VIP. It is experimental styling, not a new fishing mode.

Turn it on

  1. Open More (or Experimental).
  2. Enable Chart look.
  3. The basemap changes. Depths render as a blue-tinted satellite-style chart.

In Layers, you then get Basemap: Satellite or Map. Some labels rename (BathymetryDepth map, contours wording may change).

When to use it

Use it when you want a more “photo chart” feel to recognise bays and islands. Switch it off if labels feel harder to read or if you prefer the standard planner look.

When not to use it

Do not steer a boat by this view. The beta tag and Not for navigation are the whole point. Keep a proper chart plotter or official chart for navigation.
