3D seafloor on the fishing chart: VIP relief, not a plotter

NOT FOR NAVIGATION. 3D seafloor is a planning sandbox: does this mark actually stick up? It is VIP. Free accounts see a lock. Tapping it opens the upgrade path, not a fake mesh. It does not steer a hull. It does not replace a plotter. The parent how to read the chart owns the product-entity read. This URL owns the relief job only.

Dentex water and spear sits are the visitor use cases. Class still comes from rock Folk-5. The fish conversation stays on common dentex. Extra overlay and the lock live on Free vs VIP. This page will not reprint a price table.

What the mesh is

The panel builds a depth-grid model for the current map view, for structure around a selected spot, or for a rocky rise above flatter seabed. Subtitles in the app name which of those three you have. Shore bands and depth rings are planning aids. Vertical exaggeration stretches lumps so they are easier to see. Exaggeration is still not a sounding.

If the mesh fails, zoom to a smaller sea area inside coverage and refresh. A pretty picture outside the published strip is not a product claim.

Dentex use case

Dentex wants rock and drop where zones exist. A dark wall on a 2D frame is not a plan. 3D answers a narrower question: is there relief, or is the pin sitting on a plate that only looked busy in plan view?

Rovinj islands and Vis drop remain the named pair on the dentex page. This URL does not add a marks list. If the overlay has no dentex zones, 3D will not invent them. Lee versus exposed flank still matters more than the postcard.

Do not open 3D to turn Umag flats, Pag flats or Rimini sand into dentex water. Those frames stay sand-first. Wrong bottom blanks you. The mesh will show that too.

Spear use case

Spearfishing scores water for a diver. Technique is not the same as a surf rod. Waiting in a hole is not hunting the first drop. 3D helps you read whether a mark has a wall, a pocket or a fall before you commit a swim. The ranking method for the mode is spearfishing. That page is VIP and locked on Free.

There is no brak finder in spear mode. Inspect plus 3D is the relief read. The chart still does not mark every marine protected area. AMP and reserve boundaries stay the reader’s.

Spot relief and brak relief

Spot relief is structure around a saved or selected mark. Brak relief is a rocky rise above flatter seabed. Neither is a live fish. Neither is a plotter sounding. If the 2D pin already reads sand, 3D will not make it dentex water. If the pin reads rock, 3D can still show a plate. Believe the mesh when it is quiet.

Shore rings at ten, twenty-five, fifty and a hundred metres from land are planning bands. They are not a swim warrant. Spear still needs a technique you can actually do. Dentex still needs zones.

Reduced motion in the operating system should keep camera movement honest. This page will not tell you which GPU to buy. Phone slow: close 3D, zoom in, reduce exaggeration.
