Spearfishing the Adriatic: VIP, locked on Free, AMP is yours

Spearfishing on this corridor is VIP. On Free the mode is locked. Tapping it opens the upgrade path, not a fake set of holes. The finder scores water for a diver, not for a surf rod. Technique matters: waiting in a hole is not hunting the first drop. The chart does not mark every marine protected area. AMP, reserves and no-take rules stay yours. The parent is How you fish the Adriatic. This is the last technique child on purpose. It is not shore jigging and not surfcasting. Mixing those lists gives marks for the wrong body.

Locked on Free

Empty on Free is the product. A public teaser is not the VIP overlay. Guessing marks is not a workaround.

The chart does not mark every AMP

It will not pretend a green score is an entry permit.

Always follow local spearfishing rules, reserve boundaries and safety limits. The map is a planning surface. It is not a legal chart of every no-take zone.

Technique, not a surf rod

A technique dropdown appears in setup. Labels in the app are currently in Slovenian. Coastal hunting, stalking, waiting, holes and the drop-off are different depth bands. Pick the swim you will actually do. Then run zone finder. There is no brak finder here. Use inspect and 3D seafloor (VIP) to read relief on a mark you like.

Species overlap the anchored bottom set, plus amberjack. That is still not a secret-mark list. Dentex belongs on rock where zones exist. A sand-only town does not become a dentex dive tour because this page exists.

Italy matrices are incomplete for several modes. A chip on Trieste is not a certified Italian spear product. v1 ends at Ancona. Lagoon is out. AMP on that strip is still the reader’s.

Where it applies

Working rock, walls and drops you can actually reach as a diver. Rovinj and Vis remain rock examples on other pages. They are not a dive tour of every town. Sand bathing belts are not this mode's primary plan.

Licence jurisdiction still wins. A technique name does not pick your stamp. Slovenia if you already sleep there. Italy only if you already sleep on that strip.

Last method

VIP or accept the lock. Coverage live or not. AMP checked by you. Technique you will actually swim. Then dive or stay ashore.

Open Free vs VIP. Open coverage. Open 2026. Open Italy licence if that is the water. Then leave.

A sand-only town should not borrow this essay. If the town has no public rock or wall story, skip the method. Empty is better than a borrowed Rovinj paragraph.

Longline is clean bottom. Spear is a swim. Do not merge them. There is no town-by-technique page.
