Shore jigging the Adriatic: VIP on Free, incomplete in Italy

Shore jigging on this corridor is fishing from rocks, piers and walls with metals, jigs or similar lures. The finder stays near shore. It is VIP. On Free the mode is locked. Tapping it opens the upgrade path, not a fake set of marks. Italy matrices are incomplete. A chip on Trieste is not a certified Italian product. Read Free vs VIP and coverage before you treat a wall as a ranked sit. The in-app how-to is knowledge/shore-jigging.

The parent is How you fish the Adriatic. It is not surfcasting. Mixing those species lists gives marks for the wrong fish.

Locked on Free

Free users see a lock, not a finder. Extra overlay for this mode lives on VIP or trial. If a lock appears in the app, the honest next page is Free vs VIP.

Empty on Free is the product. A public teaser is not the VIP overlay. Guessing marks is not a workaround.

Italy incomplete

Trolling and shore-jigging overlays are not advertised as finished on the Trieste to Ancona strip. Anchor and surf can still be honest sits on sand and mixed Folk-5. They are not a pasted Istria spinning essay. NE Italy is sea-side approaches, not a second Croatia. Coverage ends at Ancona. Lagoon is out.

If you are already on that strip, treat a wall session as a method you already know, checked against coverage. Do not read a harbour chip as a finished Italian shore-jigging map.

Species list versus surf

Shore jigging scores water for the species list of that mode. Examples the product can name include pelagic and rock-associated fish on the nearshore overlay, not the nearshore bottom set used for surf and many anchor sits. Surfcasting is dawn sand and gilthead edges. Shore jigging is the wall and the castable rock. If you pick the wrong mode, the class can look fine and the fish list is still wrong.

Dentex belongs on rock and drop where zones exist. A sand-only town that mentions spinning is still not a dentex wall tour. Rock Folk-5 is the class conversation. Common dentex is the fish conversation. This page is the method.

Turn on shore distance when you inspect. Access notes (within cast, long cast, beyond typical cast) matter more here than on a hull sit. Metres without a realistic throw are half a plan.

Where it applies

Working walls and rocky approaches, not packed swimming ladders. Rovinj is rock and islands; a wall session can be honest there. Vis is drop and rock where zones exist. Cres current-line water is more often a trolling conversation; a shore session there is still a cast you can actually make.

Poreč, Piran and Rimini at first light are surf pictures. They are not this mode's primary plan. Sand pages may mention spinning. That link should land here.

Italy: incomplete matrices. Slovenia: short coast, local walls, still a Slovenian permit if that is the water.

A sand-only town should not borrow this essay. If the town has no public rock or wall story, skip the method. Empty is better than a borrowed Rovinj paragraph.

How-to versus this page

Knowledge shows which button to tap. This page is the public guide. Skippers still need the buttons.

Longline lives on longline. Spear lives on spearfishing. There is no town-by-technique page. There is no published marks list.

Licence is not a mode

A wall session is usually shore paper in Croatia. A hull day is boat paper. Guests on a skipper's boat still need their own recreational document unless the 2026 parent says otherwise. This page will not reprint prices. Croatia shore versus boat is the split.

Hour and traffic

July noon on a packed quay is not a spinning product. Dawn and late day do more work. Ferry and harbour working water are not a cast because they look close. Stay-ashore still applies when the sea is not a throw.

VIP or accept the lock. Coverage live or not. Rock you can actually stand on. Species list of this mode, not surf. Then fish or stay on the coffee.
