Fishing Kvarner: Krk, Cres and Rab, channel water and wind
This hub is the parent for three live Kvarner place guides: Krk, Cres and Rab. Channel water and wind set the day. Croatian recreational rules apply. AlgoCatch does not sell a permit. A habitat score is a model match, not a fish count.
Pag is grouped with Dalmatia, not as a Kvarner child. Its wind and flats logic is shared with this gulf: read both if you are deciding a side. Place page: fishing Pag.
The Adriatic location hub lists every town. This page is the Kvarner pattern only.

What this coast is (Krk side-choice → Cres current lines → Rab between the two)
Krk is the bridge island. You can pick a shore by wind without a long ferry. Punat and Baška are side choices, not a catalogue of secret marks. Stay-ashore is part of the product when Bora stands the gulf up.
Cres is deeper channel water. Current lines matter. Osor and the southern tip are examples of relief, not a promise that every cove is mapped as a mark. Wind is the day’s director.
Rab sits between Krk and Pag. Channels and bays. Seasonal pelagic transitions can show. It is still Kvarner, not a Dalmatian island week.
Those three are the children. Distances look short. Fetch and funnelled wind are not.
What this coast is not (Istria flats, Dalmatian drop, Pag as a child)
This is not Istria sand-edge fishing. Savudrija's hundred-metre miss is a different lesson. Do not copy that essay onto Cres.
This is not Vis drop. Outer Dalmatian rock is a different hub.
Pag is not a Kvarner child. The island is grouped with Dalmatia. Read both hubs if wind and flats are the reason you are here.
Krk, Cres and Rab are the children. There is no extra Kvarner town under this URL.
Folk-5 on this coast (mixed channels; rock is local, not Rovinj islands)
Mixed Folk-5 is the usual Kvarner story. Channel edges and local harder belts. Rock exists. It is not a copy of Rovinj’s island field.
Sand appears in pockets. It does not turn Krk into Umag. Depth without class is half a plan. Working water is often a channel wall or a lee mixed belt, not an open-Adriatic hole.
A habitat score is still a model match. Read Folk-5 seabed before you treat a chip as a census.
Species honesty (lead with what the children actually have)
Do not copy Istria's orada-first block as if it were gulf-wide. Lead with whatever public zones the children have.
Pelagic lines can show on Cres. That is a current-line story, not a mackerel encyclopedia. Dentex is named only where the model has zones. Do not add Umag-style sand targets to this hub.
Empty public cards stay empty.
Techniques that are safe to name (anchor in lee; trolling as a search line)
Anchor in a readable lee on mixed ground is safe to name. Correct if the first drop is mute.
Trolling is a search line along channel relief, then a sit. It is not a certified complete overlay stamp.
Shore fishing exists. Packed summer quays are not a plan. Stay-ashore on a Bora day is the honest product sentence. See when to stay ashore.
Licence (Croatia)
This is Croatian water. Recreational rules, harbour limits and any park restriction are yours to check. AlgoCatch does not sell a permit.
Croatia fishing licence 2026 is the permit URL the three children inherit.
The three places
Fishing Krk: bridge access, side choice by wind.
Fishing Cres: deeper channels, current lines, wind as director.
Fishing Rab: between Krk and Pag, channels and seasonal transitions.
Those three are the children. Pag is the Dalmatia neighbour, not a fourth card here.
