What you will learn: why AlgoCatch asks you to confirm, how the link works, and how to resend it if the first email is missing.
Screen name: Confirm your email
Address: app.algocatch.com/verify-email
You confirm once. After that, you go straight to the map when you sign in.
Why this step exists
Your email is how you recover the account, receive support replies, and get billing receipts. Confirming proves the address is really yours.
Until you confirm, the map does not open.
What you should see
The screen says Confirm your email and Confirm your email address to unlock the AlgoCatch map.
If you are signed in, it also shows: We sent a confirmation link to {your email}.
Check Inbox and Spam (sometimes labelled Junk). The sender is AlgoCatch.
Confirm from the email
- Open the confirmation message.
- Tap the confirmation link.
- The app shows Confirming your email / Confirming… for a moment.
- When it works, you continue to the map — or, if you had chosen a paid plan during signup, to checkout.
Keep this browser tab open until confirmation finishes.
If you never got the email
- Wait a minute, then check Spam.
- On the Confirm your email screen, tap Resend confirmation email. It shows Sending…, then a message such as If your email needs verification, we sent a new confirmation link.
- If Could not resend the confirmation email appears, wait and try again.
Wrong email address
If you typed the address incorrectly at registration:
- Tap Wrong email? Sign out and register again.
- Create a free account with the correct address.
The unused account with the typo can be ignored. You can delete an account later if you can still sign in.
If the link fails
| Message | What to do |
|---|---|
| “Email confirmation failed” | Request a new link from this screen, then use the newest email. Old links expire. |
| “This confirmation link is invalid or expired…” | Sign in, open Confirm your email, tap Resend confirmation email. |
| You land on Back to sign in | Sign in first, then open the newest confirmation link. |
| You wanted to pay but see “Could not start checkout” | Open the map, then upgrade from there. |
