Panel title: Saved Spots
How to open: Tools while you are in a spot-based mode (Anchor, Shore Jigging, Surfcasting, Spearfishing).
Saved spots are your pins. They are not published to other users. Sharing a preview link is a separate VIP gift action — see Gift a private preview.
Drop a spot
- Choose a fishing mode that uses spots (usually Anchor).
- Open Tools.
- If drop mode is offered, turn on saving / drop, then tap the map where you want the mark.
- The pin appears. Open Saved Spots to name-focus, delete, or export.
Onboarding coach: Tap the map to drop a spot - then save it. Empty list: No saved spots yet. with CTA Tap the map to save a spot.
You can also inspect first (Inspect a point), then save once you like the depth and bottom.
Manage the list
Typical actions in Saved Spots / Spots (n):
- Tap a row to focus the map on that pin
- Delete a single spot
- Export / Import to move marks between devices or into another tool
- Clear All — removes every saved spot on this device (cannot undo)
Where spots are stored
Spots are kept on this browser / device (local storage), not as a cloud logbook. That means:
- Another phone will not magically show the same list until you export/import
- Clearing the browser’s site data wipes them
- Free and VIP both can save spots this way (no VIP cap on local spots)
Treat export as your backup before you change phones.
