What you will learn: how surfcasting zones are found, and how this differs from shore jigging.
Mode name: Surfcasting (short: Surf)
Plan: VIP.
Surfcasting is long casts from beach or low shore, often into the first troughs and bars. The finder still cares about distance from land, but the species list is the nearshore bottom set (closer to Anchor: gilthead, pandora, and similar), not the shore-jig pelagic list.
If you mix the two modes up, you will get marks for the wrong fish.

Tools
- Zone finder with surfcasting / nearshore species
- Saved spots
- Inspect for depth, bottom, and whether the drop is still a realistic cast
Find Braks is not in this mode. Structure search stays in Anchor.
Turn on Shore distance and Seabed habitat so you can see sand vs rock vs grass in front of the beach.
