Dalmatia

Dalmatia is the central and southern Croatian coast in the AlgoCatch catalog. Published towns are Pag, Zadar, Šibenik, Murter, Split, Hvar, Vis, Korčula, and Dubrovnik. Every record tags mixed Folk-5. Pag also tags sand. Hvar, Vis, Korčula, and Dubrovnik also tag rock. The public species polygon files for these towns are empty. This page states no depth range.

Also called Slovenian Dalmacija, Croatian Dalmacija. The Italian common name is not in the AlgoCatch catalog.

Where it lives in the Adriatic

Pag is the sand-tagged town in this set, and it is filed under Dalmatia rather than Kvarner. Hvar, Vis, Korčula, and Dubrovnik carry the rock tag beside mixed. Zadar, Šibenik, Murter, and Split are mixed only. None of these nine towns has a public gilthead, mackerel, bonito, or pandora polygon.

How AlgoCatch maps it

Seabed tags come from the place catalog. They are not a species score. An empty polygon file means the public guide is not drawing a zone, even where the Folk-5 tag is filled in. Depth is not stated.
