Dalmatia
Fishing Split
Split is the hub of central Dalmatia: in one day you can fish under the city, in channels or toward the islands. That is why the problem is often too many options — not too few. This page gives a seasonal and technical frame plus public habitat zones (scores ≤ 50).
Habitat zones (score ≤ 50)
We only show public zones with score up to 50. Green / high-probability peaks stay in the VIP app.

Season
April–June and September–October are reliable. Summer needs early windows and avoiding main ferry lines. Autumn is often gold for anchoring.
Techniques
Short trolling, anchoring, shore approaches away from the most touristy spots. For longer runs, treat Hvar/Vis as targets, not just scenery.
Depths and bottom
From bathymetry in the location frame: about 0.1–500 m (median 61.3 m, 33456 samples). The shore can be shallow; toward channels and islands you quickly reach 20–60 m. Pick the band by species.

Frequently asked questions
- Fish under Split or go to the islands?
- Both make sense. For calm and structure the islands often win — if weather and time allow.
- Which technique is most versatile?
- Anchoring over proven structure. Troll to find active zones, then drop the anchor.
- How do I get green habitat zones?
- With a VIP subscription — public pages deliberately show only scores ≤ 50.
